How I Started - Andy

My name is Andy, and for the past three years (Written In 2000) I have had a strong interest in the NASA mission footage. I have been interested in the subject of Ufology since I was child. However, it was a video of the STS-84 mission (The "Wille" tape) that really piqued my interest in the NASA mission tapes. Like many other people with an interest in UFOs, I was familiar with the STS-48 & STS-80 missions. After seeing these videos I was thirsty for MORE, but more was not available. Several years passed, and I was quite shocked to find that no other NASA footage as interesting as STS-48, and STS-80, had come forward. It was quite difficult to find new information here in the UK. Nearly all information about any new NASA footage came from the US.

This was soon going to change. One day I came across a post that mentioned footage from STS-84, and it's mission to Mir. Several strange objects were said to be seen maneuvring near the Mir Space Station.

I read the post with interest, and I was surprised that no one else had been talking about this. I thought it was at least worth sending an email to the address, and asking for more information. The reply told how a gentleman had recorded some very interesting objects during the STS-84 docking & un-docking with Mir. This gentleman had his own array of satellite dishes in his backyard and, after recording these images, he decided to put his evidence on tape. This tape was available for purchase. I though this could be some scam to make money, but I still sent for a copy. I hoped that I would not be disappointed. When the tape arrived, I was anything but disappointed.

The tape began with an introduction to the gentleman "Wille", who had recorded the STS-84 mission. His face and name had been obscured, so that his privacy could be protected. After Mr. Wille had told the story of how he came across the anomalous objects, we were then able to watch a copy from the raw footage. The footage is very interesting, with many pulsating objects flying about in the vicinity of Mir. The most important section shows one of these objects to stop, and hover below the Mir Space Station. This object then appears to pass behind the Station, in an all new direction. The gamble that I took, sending my money to a stranger for this tape, paid off. I could now see the evidence for myself.

After spending over a year looking for Mr. Wille, I found him. On Christmas day 1999, we spoke for the first time. So for the small fee I paid, I was privileged to not only see this incredible footage, but I was also able to gain a good friend.

My story does not end there. I was also very lucky to make one more good friend, who shares my interest in the NASA footage. This gentleman's name is Jeff. It was by pure chance that we started talking to each other. After I had worked with the STS-84 footage, I put out a notice, or "post", on one of the many UFO message boards. I asked if anybody else had any interesting new NASA footage. Was I in for a shock! I got a message back from Jeff, who told me he had lots of information, and some very interesting footage from STS-96. We started talking, and we agreed to share our NASA footage with each other. I sent the various footage I had been working on, and receiving, to Jeff. He sent me the STS-96 footage. I thought we were both in for a treat. I had never seen STS-96 before, and Jeff had never seen STS-84.

After seeing the STS-96 footage, I have to say that STS-84, and STS-96, are the most interesting footage I have seen in a long time. They are each unique, and both pieces of footage ask many questions. The STS-96 footage has one object that appears to be self illuminated, and pulsating. When you compare this object to things that we know are ice, dirt, and debris, it looks nothing like them. It truly is an unknown object. There is also the "Florida Sequence", in which we can see many objects that are also of interest to NASA. They were following and zooming in on these objects for a closer look. To me, that is a clear indication that NASA have a very strong interest in what is going on up there above mother Earth.

I feel very lucky to have come across this footage. I have also gained two very close friends. I can only thank Mr. Wille, and Jeff, for all the hard work they have done trying to get this footage, and information, out to the public.
